Outdoor advertising is here to stay

Despite the growing interest in the internet marketing business, there is still nothing like traditional outdoor advertising as an extremely cost-effective source of marketing. While more and more people use computers at home and at work, traditional outdoor advertising takes advantage of the attention of pedestrians, commuters, sports fans, and anyone who simply finds themselves outside in a public area.
The automobile industry uses highway billboards that cater to some tens of millions of daily American commuters. Taxicabs, buses, subways and wall murals are other types of outdoor advertising. Potential consumers are told to buy a product or travel to a certain destination, while ordinary citizens are urged to vote for a particular politician, be aware of a social cause, or give to charity.
